Naturino Primigi outlet Brussels: looking for Italian children’s shoes from a well-known brand without paying full price? At Outlet Chaussures Bruxelles, at 40 Place du Jeu de Balle in the Marolles, you will find new Naturino and Primigi shoes at fixed outlet prices, open every day from 10 am to 3.30 pm. In this article we introduce the two brands, show you which models fill our shelves and explain how to choose the right size with enough growing room.

Who are Naturino and Primigi?

Naturino and Primigi are two Italian brands that specialise in children’s shoes. Their whole range is made for children’s feet, from first steps to teenage sizes. Both brands are known for their soft, flexible soles and for their use of leather, even in the smallest sizes.

Naturino and Primigi reach our shelves the same way as all our shoes. We buy in bulk in Italy, directly from large retail chains, and sell those shoes in our Brussels store at discount prices. They are new pairs from recent collections, in their original box, with their label.

Our other brands are introduced on our brands page, and the way we buy is explained on How our outlet works.

Why parents choose them

A child’s shoe has a lot to put up with: the playground, the cobblestones, a puddle on the way to school, a football match at lunchtime. Parents choose Naturino and Primigi because these brands combine sturdiness with a sole that stays supple and bends with every step.

The material matters too. A leather upper moulds to the foot as it is worn, wipes clean with a damp cloth and stays smart for a long time with a little care, a real advantage for a child who wears it to school every day.

Then there is the price. Children outgrow their shoes quickly, and a branded shoe at full price soon becomes a real expense. With us you pay between roughly €20 and €150 a pair, depending on brand and model, and those prices are fixed all year round.

One word of caution: a good shoe is not a treatment. If your child is in pain, walks noticeably differently or you have doubts about the position of their feet, please consult a doctor or podiatrist first.

The models you will find with us: first steps, school, sport and special occasions

Our range depends on the batches we buy in Italy and changes with every delivery, but broadly you will find four kinds of Naturino and Primigi shoes.

Moment What you will find with us What to check
First steps Light leather shoes with a thin, flexible sole A sole that bends easily and a fastening that keeps the foot in place
School and everyday Leather lace-ups, Velcro shoes, ankle boots A sturdy toe, a sole with good grip, easy to put on and take off
Sport and play Sneakers and trainers in leather or textile A light sole, a breathable upper, room for the toes
Special occasions Smarter leather models for a First Communion, a wedding or a family party Comfortable enough to wear all day

In the warmer months sandals join the range, and in winter lined ankle boots. If you find a model that suits your child, take it in the right size: once a batch has sold out, it is not always replaced by the same model.

Alongside Naturino and Primigi, we also stock children’s shoes from Geox, a brand known for its breathable sole; you can read more in our article on Geox at outlet prices. Size and growing room

Getting the size right starts at home. Have your child stand upright on a sheet of paper with their heel against the wall, and draw a pencil line just in front of the longest toe. Measure from the wall to the line in centimetres, repeat for the other foot and go by the longer one. With that foot length you can look up the matching size in our shoe size conversion chart.

A good children’s shoe is slightly longer than the foot. Allow roughly a thumb’s width of space in front of the longest toe. With less room, the toes hit the front of the shoe at every step; with much more, the shoe is loose and the heel slips out.

So do not buy shoes two sizes too big to make them last longer. Check the size regularly instead, because young children rarely tell you that a shoe pinches. The full method, and when it is time for a new pair, are covered in our guide to measuring children’s shoe size.

The size on the box is only a starting point: fit and width vary from brand to brand and from model to model.

Trying shoes on with your child in the store

Children’s shoes are best bought with the child there. With us you can do that without an appointment, every day, Sundays included, from 10 am to 3.30 pm. We are happy to fetch another size or colour from the boxes for you.

  • Bring the socks your child will normally wear with the shoes.
  • Always try both shoes, and have your child stand up while you feel where the big toe is.
  • Press gently on the toe of the shoe: there should be about a thumb’s width of room.
  • Let your child walk up and down the aisle a few times and check that the heel stays in place.
  • Ask whether anything pinches, but trust above all what you see and feel yourself.
  • Keep your receipt: you will need it for the legal guarantee.

STIB metro, tram and bus services stop nearby (Jeu de Balle and Chapelle stops), and all the practical details are on our Store and directions page. Do drop in with your child: together, you will find the right pair on our shelves.

Frequently asked questions: Naturino Primigi outlet Brussels

Are your Naturino and Primigi shoes genuine?

Yes. All our children’s shoes are new, never worn and sold in their original box with their label. We buy them in bulk in Italy, directly from large retail chains, from their recent collections.

How much do Naturino and Primigi shoes cost at your store?

Our prices range from roughly €20 to €150 a pair, depending on brand and model. They are fixed outlet prices all year round, with no temporary promotions.

How much growing room should a child’s shoe have?

Allow roughly a thumb’s width between the longest toe and the front of the shoe, measured while the child is standing. Any bigger and the shoe will be loose.

Can I order Naturino or Primigi online from you?

No, we only sell in our store at 40 Place du Jeu de Balle in Brussels. We have no online shop: a child’s shoe is best tried on with the child, every day from 10 am to 3.30 pm.
